2025

I had the pleasure of speaking at the Algae Biotechnology Symposium today, and I’m still smiling from the experience. The audience was warm, curious, and full of great questions.

I received a kind note from the organizers afterward, sharing that many participants enjoyed the talk and might even reach out about future collaborations. That’s the kind of feedback that makes all the hard work worthwhile.

A big thank-you to the organizing team for the invitation. It was a wonderful event, and I’m grateful to have been part of it.

Here’s to new ideas, new connections, and the exciting future of algae research!

I am deeply honored to have served as a Plenary Speaker during the 8th iSTEAM+ Research Congress, organized by Eastern Visayas State University, held on November 12–13, 2025. It was an incredible experience to share insights and engage with brilliant minds committed to advancing science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

The discussions were inspiring and meaningful, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic platform. A big thank you to the iSTEAM Secretariat and the organizing committee for their warm hospitality and for making this event a success.

I’m incredibly proud to have served as a Scientific Committee Member for the AFOB Regional Symposium 2025 (ARS2025) — an event that brought together brilliant minds, groundbreaking research, and inspiring collaborations in the field of biotechnology.

Being part of the planning and execution of ARS2025 was a rewarding experience. From reviewing abstracts to shaping the technical program, it was amazing to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate team. The symposium was a true testament to what we can achieve through teamwork and shared vision.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute and learn from this vibrant community.

Looking forward to future collaborations and continuing to support the growth of biotechnology in our region and beyond!

Celebrating a Milestone: My Contribution to SEA-CICSIC 2025

I’m thrilled to share a recent highlight in my academic journey—serving as a judge at the Southeast Asia Division Contest of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2025, hosted by Xiamen University Malaysia.

Despite the short notice, I was honored to be part of this prestigious event, which brought together brilliant student minds from across Southeast Asia. Evaluating their innovative projects was both inspiring and rewarding. The level of creativity, research depth, and presentation skills demonstrated by the participants was truly impressive.

Being part of the judging panel allowed me to contribute to shaping the future of science and innovation in the region. It also reminded me of the importance of mentorship and academic collaboration in nurturing the next generation of researchers.

I’m grateful to the SEA-CICSIC 2025 Organizing Committee for the opportunity and look forward to more engagements that promote sustainable innovation and regional academic excellence.

Let’s continue to support and celebrate young talents who are driving change through science and creativity!
